Document Description
Drilling 5 new petroleum oil/gas wells to replace 5 abandoned wells. The new wells will be drilled from the current Tunnel Facility Location where they will be cyclically steamed. Santa Barbara Planning and Development, as Lead Agency, prepared and approved an amendment (16AMD-00000-00009) to the Mitigated Negative Declaration (09-NGD-00000-00015). The amendment is dated April 13, 2017. The Mitigated Negative Declaration is dated December 17, 2009. The Californ a Division of Oil, Gas, & Geothermal Resources considered the MND prepared by the Lead Agency and issued a Permit to Conduct Well Operations. The Division of Oil, Gas, And Geothermal Resources has approved permits for Vaquero Energy to install the oil and gas wells listed below, in the Cat Canyon oilfield.
