The California Water Service Company is proposing to install a nitrate removal system at Station 103-01 to treat groundwater from Wells 103-01 and 65-01. A 12" pipeline to transmit raw water from Well 65-01 to 103-01 was installed in September 2008. The system will be installed at Station 103-01 and will consist of a 10'X35'LX9'H removal unit container, 2 waste brine storage tanks with a 6,650 gallon capacity, and one salt storage tank with a 9,100 gallon capacity.
