Document Description
The Sports Park and Recreation Center EIR evaluated a 2015 scenario based on the expected opening of the Sports Park. In 2012, the City hired Austin-Foust Associates to complete a brief traffic study (titled "Rancho Parkway Traffic Study") to evaluate potential traffic impacts of assumed future development of 447,000 square feet of commercial space on the 30 acre property located adjacent to the Sports Park site, just north of Rancho Parkway. The scope of the Traffic Study evaluated a 2030 General Plan build out scenario and confirmed that all subject area intersections operate at acceptable levels of service in the 2030 build out timeframe. An Addendum to the Sports Park EIR was prepared to document the findings of the Rancho Parkway Traffic Study and add it to the administrative record for the Sports Park and Recreation Center project.
