Bank stabilization work on eroded sections of San Mateo Creek: Installation of one to 2 ton rock riprap at the toe of slope immediately downstream of and adjacent to the existing cinder block wall, for a length of 30 linear ft. Remove old demolished concrete stonewall. Plane and compact soil behind the rock toe to recontour the bank sides to their former 2:1 slope. Plant bank slope with shade tolerant native riparian shrubs. The enclosed drawing shows the site plan and proposed bank and channel repairs.
