Document Description
The Golden State Water Company proposes to construct an additional well at the Clair Plant Site, where two wells are currently in operation. As part of the project, new yard piping to connect the well to the existing distribution system would be installed. A site drain line for waste discharge would also be installed, and be connect to an existing storm drain and associated piping. In the event the treatment to remove perchlorate is needed, treatment facilities would be installed, and Clair Well #3, an existing well, would be removed and the space used for treatment vessels. The proposed new well would pump into existing infrastructure via conveyance facilities for delivery to customers. Sodium hypochlorite would be injected to maintain a pre-determined disinfectant residual in the water.
