Document Description
The proposed project consists of the adoption of the City of Chico Storm Water Ordinance that will incorporate the Design Standards already set forth in Attachment 4 of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System, Phase II (NPDES II) General Permit for the City of Chico into the Chico Municipal Code (CMC) as §15.50 (Storm Water Management and Discharge Controls). The ordinance will include an enforcement mechanism to ensure compliance with the applicable NPDES II permit standards and provide staff with the means to enforce storm water related standard mitigations already incorporated into development projects. The project includes amendments to CMC §18R.08.050 (Storm Drainage) to ensure the City's design criteria implement the NPDES II General Permit control measures. No development is proposed as part of the project.
