Document Description
The project will consist of tree removal at Pacheco Creek on the west side of the existing Hwy 156 bridge to increase visibility of the existing Casa de Fruta billboard. Tree removal will consist of removing 13 willow trees (7 on the north side of the creek and 6 on the south side), 3 sycamore trees, 1 cottonwood tree, and 2 oak trees. All trees are less than 14" in diameter breast height (DBH). The project will also remove miscellaneous saplings, all less than 3" DBH. Three replacement trees (of the same species) will be planted for each tree (>3" DBH) removed. Replacement trees will be planted with drip irrigation in one or two mitigation areas along Pacheco Creek.
