Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0055-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Toll Brothers. The project is limited to construction of 1,200 new residential units, a park, a recreation center and the associated roads, infrastructure, and landscaping on 224.5 acres of what is currently the Montebello Oil Field. The buildings and the associated infrastructure will be constructed in two phases, beginning with phase A, which is anticipated to take 5 years to complete. Upon completion, construction of phase B will begin. The remaining 263 acres of the 488- acre parcel will be preserved and managed under a conservation easement known as the Montebello Hills Habitat Reserve.
