Document Description
The Santa Barbara Campus proposed to replace certain underground utility distribution and collection pipelines. A phased infrastructure renewal program has been developed that addresses the natural gas and potable water distribution systems, and the sanitary sewer collection and storm drainage systems. The utilities that would be replaced have been identified as being in deteriorated condition and/or undersized to adequately serve the existing development located on the Main Campus. Utilities replaced include natural gas, potable water, sanitary sewer, and storm drains. The SB Campus proposes to implement Phase 1C of the Infrastructure Renewal project install a new stormwater and seawater pipeline along Lagoon Road and remove storm and seawater drain outfalls from the east ocean bluffs along Lagoon Road divert storm and sea water to the Campus Lagoon. An addendum was prepared to the Final MND for the Lagoon Road storm and sea water drains.
