Project is an update of the Housing Element of the City's 2030 General Plan. The update is for the period 2014-2019 pursuant to CA Government Code Section 65580 et seq., and identifies existing and projected housing needs and establishes goals, policies, and programs for the preservation, improvement, and development of housing for all economic groups and special needs groups in the City. The Housing Element includes an analysis for the City's demographics, housing characteristics, review of governmental and nongovernmental constraints, an evaluation of the City's available land inventory, and implementation programs that will help the City accommodate housing needs.
