The City of Fortuna is updating the City's General Plan. The update proposed changes to existing or the provision of new General Plan Elements, including: Land Use, Transportation and Circulation, Natural and Cultural Resources, Parks, Recreation, Open Space, and Visual Resources, Public Facilities and Services, Public Health and Safety, Economic Development, and Community Character/Design. The update also includes an updated Land Use Diagram that includes four annexation areas, five focus areas, and the Mill District Area Plan. The Draft Program EIR adequately descruibes the General Plan and provides an assessment of the environmental impacts associated with its implementation. The Draft Policy Document is available for review at Fortuna City Hall and on the City's website.
