Document Description
The draft Downtown Mixed Use Master plan establishes standards to guide development in Downtown Benicia. The plan is intended to provide specificity and certainty regarding the design and placement of buildings in this area of special interest and value to the community. The plan includes a different set of development and land use standards than are presently established by the Zoning Ordinance, the General Plan, and the Downtown Historic Conservation Plan. Upon adoption, the standards in Chapter 4 of the plan will supercede and replace the City's Zoning Ordinance provisions regarding zoning districts, allowable land uses, permit requirements, and site development standards for the geographic area covered.
