Document Description
The project would construct a residential community consisting of seven low to mid-rise buildings on the UC Santa Barbara Main Campus. The buildings are approximately 606,000 assignable square feet (ASF), 718,900 gross square feet (GSF) and include approximately 2,224 new beds for undergraduate students in apartment-style units. The project also includes a Central Utility Plant. Long Range Development Plan Amendment 7 is proposed to increase the development height limit from 65 feet to 85 feet on a portion of the site south of Mesa Road, and make various consistency changes related to parking and transportation policies; LRDP maps will also be updated through an amendment to reflect recent delineations of biological resources and circulation improvements proposed in the project.
