Document Description
The project is limited to the replacement of an existing degraded 24-inch corrugated metal culvert with a 6-foot by 2-foot pre-cast concrete box culvert to facilitate better drainage and provide additional wildlife migration under the existing roadway. The existing culvert will be removed, the channel will be widened 10 feet both upstream and downstream of the culvert and the area excavated to 3 feet below grade. The new box culvert will be placed in the current alignment. Approximately one foot of fill followed by a paved roadway will be placed on top of the new culvert. CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0365-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
