DPR proposes to make the improvements described herein to the Mill Creek Acquisition (MCA) watersheds located within Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park. The purpose of these improvements is to help meet the primary goal of the acquisition, which is the restoration of late-successional forest characteristics by removing the underlying causes of poor forest health associated with high tree densities established by the former management system.
