A welded-steel pieline, ~72 inches in diameter, extending along the 7 mile reach from Mission Boulevard in Fremont to the Newark Valve Lot, located within the existing SFPUC ROW of BDPL Nos. 1 and 2; The Bay Tunnel segment of BDPL No. 5, approximately 108 inches in diameter, extending 5 miles from the Newark Valve Lot to the Ravenswood Valve Lot, crossing under the Bay and the adjacent marshlands. BDPL Nos. 1 and 2 would tie into the tunnel at both ends and would be decommissioned between Newark and Ravenswood Valve Lots; A welded-steel pipeline, ~60 inches in diameter, extending along the 9 mile reach from Ravenswood Valve Lot to Pulgas Tunnel Portal, located within the existing SFPUC ROW of BDPL Nos. 1 and 2; New facilities at 6 existing valve lot locations, including new concrete valve vaults and control buildings that house electrical control panels, isolation valves, mechanical equipment, and cross-connections between BDLP No. 5 and the existing BDLP Nos. 1 and 2; A new flow-metering vault at Hassler Road in Redwood City; and A new fiber optic cable installed on existing towers between PG&E's Ravenswood Substation in Menlo Park and its Ames Substation in Mountain View.
