Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0245-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Sacramento. Project is limited to development, construction, and operation of a wet well and stormwater outflow to allow the movement of rainfall, as stormwater, into the Sacramento River. The project will move treated rainwater that falls on hard surfaces and is treated at the source through low impact development (LID) techniques, (e.g. impervious bioswales) from Sacramento Railyards Specific Plan (RSP) Area. These LID techniques allow for water to be arrested and for particles to settle out resulting in lower turbidity stormwater that is then collected in the proposed project's wet well. Then, water is pumped from the wet well down the stormwater outflow pipes and through flap gates into the Sacramento River.
