Document Description
The Sanctuary Island Master Development Plan Project proposes to develop approximately 1,750 acres of the nearly 2,000 acre Shima Tract, with 7,070 dwelling units, 483,984 square feet of offices, 208,272 square feet of retail, up to 200 hotel rooms, three lakes, a privately-owned marina, two religious facilities, recreational open space, four schools, orchards, and a small winery. The proposed project is located south of Bear Creek, Disappointment Slough, and Mosher Slough, west of the City of Stockton and I-5, north of Five Mile Slough and Fourteen Mile Slough, in the Secondary Zone on the San Joaquin Delta.
