Document Description
The Downtown Specific Plan (DSP or "proposed project") will consist of a comprehensive set of incentives, standards, and requirements that will achieve the vision for the future downtown development. The DSP will act as the planning tool to guide and direct new development, economic development; streetscape improvements; transportation development, parking; pedestrian amenities; open space and land use; preservation of cultural resources; and art space. This is an urban design oriented plan, which sets the physical standards and guidelines as well as land use regulations for activities within the DSP area. The specific plan will be instrumental in promoting the excitement and livability of downtown Glendale, as well as providing incentives for development in keeping with the City's vision.
