Document Description
The objective of the proposed project is to update the General Plan for the City of Lakeport and will include the following: (1) Changes to current General Plan designations, (2) proposed expansion of the City of Lakeport's Sphere of Influence and (3) changes to and the reorganization of the General Plan Elements. The City is proposing amendments to the existing General Plan that would increase the City's Sphere of Influence in addition, the land-use designation for certain areas within the city limits would be amended to allow a broader mix of uses than currently allowed. With the implementation of the proposed General Plan, build out of the Specific Plan area result in a variety of potential uses including: increased residential development, commercial development and open space.
