Document Description
Amendment to the Mira Mesa Community Plan, Maser Plan, Vesting Tentative Map, Rezone, Master Planned Development Permit, Site Development Permit, and Amendment to Reclamation Plan/Conditional Use Permit. The Stone Creek project proposes a mixed-use development as described in adopted Carroll Canyon Master Plan Element of the Mira Mesa Community Plan. The mixed-use development proposed for Stone Creek proposes approximately 50 acres of parks, open space and trails; up to 8,700 dwelling units; and up to 600,000 square feet of industrial/business park uses. Additionally, the project proposes a pedestrian-focused mixed use core which could provide additional housing, approximately 100,000 square feet of office space, and approximately 30,000 square feet of retail space. The mixed-use core would be situated approximately in the center of the project and would provide an integrated mix of retail, high density residential and office uses connected by a well-developed pedestrian system. A transit stop for the future Light-Rail-Transit (LRT) would also be located within the mixed-use core. To the east of the mixed-use core would be the proposed light industrial and business park uses.
