The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Central Valley Flood Protection Board (Board), and Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (SAFCA) propose to construct levee improvements to address erosion concern along approximately 1,700 linear feet of the east levee of the Sacramento River near River Mile 55. Most of the levee improvements included in the Project were analyzed in the 2016 American River Common Features General Reevaluation Report (ARCF GRR) Final Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR). This Draft Supplemental EA/EIR addresses project modifications and refinements since certification of the ARCF GRR EIS/EIR.
