Document Description
The ARC3A Project includes the installation of approximately 3,000 linear feet of levee erosion protection to reduce the risk of levee erosion during high flow events on the Lower American River. The ARC3A Project also includes the installation of on-site riparian habitat features and instream woody material to provide on-site habitat for fish and wildlife species. The purpose of the ARC3A Project is to reduce the risk of levee failure caused by erosion during high-flow events on the Lower American River. The ARC3A Project would strengthen the Lower American River levee system and reduce the risk of a catastrophic flood event within the Sacramento metropolitan area.
