Document Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in coordination with the Department of Water Resources, the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, and the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency, propose to conduct geotechnical investigations that would provide analytical data to understand geomorphic characteristics of the levee, blanket and aquifer, as well as provide information on soil characterization for potential presence of contamination. These findings would inform project design specifications for the Sacramento River East Levee Contract 4 Project. A previous NOE (filed 6/11/21) describing similar activities was limited to June to August of 2021. This NOE continues these geotechnical investigation efforts to inform project design for the Sacramento River East Levee Contract 4 Project.
