Draft Supplemental EIS/EIR for the American River Watershed Common Features, Water Resources Development Act of 2016 Project, American River Contract 2. The document supplements the American River Watershed Common Features General Reevaluation Report Final EIS/EIR (SCH #2005072046).
The Proposed Action is located in the City of Sacramento, California along the Lower American River (LAR). The Proposed Action in this document consists of
the installation of approximately 7,800 linear feet of erosion protection and on-site riparian habitat features along two levee segments (Sites 2-2 and 2-3) of the
LAR right bank (looking downstream) from just upstream of the Howe Avenue bridge to the downstream end of the Campus Commons Golf Course. The
Proposed Action also includes creation of three off-site habitat restoration sites (Arden Pond and two areas at Rossmoor Bar) for mitigation, associated staging
areas, stockpile sites, and haul routes, and reconstruction of the Campus Commons Golf Course.
