Geotechnical investigations will occur along the right bank of the American River from the north end of the Campus Commons Golf Course to approximately 500 feet southeast of the Guy West Bridge within the American River Parkway in Sacramento, California.

Reasons for Exemption
The Project consists of geotechnical investigations that will not result in a major disturbance to the environment. Woody vegetation will not be impacted. State and federally listed species will not be impacted. The Project will not impact water quality. Recreational paths will remain open. Sampling locations will be backfilled upon completion and sites will be restored to pre-project conditions. No mitigation will be required. Please note, the signed NOE is not attached.
