The Sacramento River East Levee (SREL) Contract 2 Project is a component of the American River Watershed Common Features (ARCF) 2016 Project. The Project would consist of constructing a series of cutoff walls along segments of the Sacramento River east levee between approximately U Street and the Pocket Neighborhood. The purpose of Project is to reduce risks of levee failure related to seepage, underseepage, and levee stability
