The impact footprint of the site is zoned S88 (Specific Plan Area) as it is located in the East Otay Mesa Specific Plan Area (EOMSP). The land use designations of the site per the EOMSP are Mixed Industrial and Rural Residential.
The project is in the East Otay Mesa Specific Plan Area within the Otay Subregional Planning Area of unincorporated southern portion of San Diego County. The project footprint is located 0.5 miles east of the intersection of Otay Mesa Road and Alta Road.
