Document Description
Construction of a new domestic water well and pumping plant for Pressure Zone I within the Watsonville Water Service Area and City Limits. The primary purpose of the project is to develop a new source of water to improve management of the ground water aquifer basin by shifting the City's ground water pumping further inland to help offset sea water intrusion. The project will also improve water system reliability by providing an additional source in case any of the City's existing wells must be shut down due to contamination or well failure.
