Document Description
The purpose of the project is the expansion of property boundaries and the corresponding General Plan Amendment to incorporate the new property boundaries. In addition, the project involves an increase in site disposal capacity within the existing waste footprint, which will result in an increase in the estimated remaining site life. The project contemplates a contingency scenario in which the waste stream from the County's current regional landfill would be diverted to the Pumice Valley Landfill for a five-year period beginning in January, 2024.
