Document Description
The project proposes to construct and implement process modifications needed to improve the biological treatment capabilities of the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility. The document is available for public review at the City of Fresno, 2600 Fresno Street, Suite 4019; the Fresno County Public Library, 2420 Mariposa Street; and, the Fresno County Clerk's Office, 221 Kern Street, Fresno.
The objective of the project is to improve the operational reliability and biological treatment at the wastewater facility. Flows will not increase, and capacity will remain at 88 million gallons per day, as is currently permitted by Waste Discharge Requirement Number 5-01-254. Biological treatment improvements will allow more effective processing of the wastewater, better treating organic loadings to meet discharge requirements.
