Document Description
Install approximately 1,000 lineal feet of transmission pipeline. Construct two recharge basins containing encompassing about two acres of area. Other facilities to be installed as part of the proposed project include basin inlets, flow meters, related electrical equipment, etc. Once all facilities are operational, the District proposes to recharge up to 1,000 acre feet of potable water from the water distribution system over the next 6-12 months. An existing monitoring well, and other monitoring activities, will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the recharge program.

The proposed Pilot Basin #2 Project will be installed on two (2) acres within 64 acres of recently acquired VVWD land located east of the Interstate 15 Freeway and south of Yates Road. The site is located south of the Green Tree golf course and Yates road, amidst residential and vacant lands, in the City of Victorville. This site is situated within the northeast 1/4 of Section 29, T5N, R4W SBM.
