Document Description
The mid-20th century Lower Sproul complex would be updated and renovated to conform to current life safety and accessibility codes. Eshleman Hall, with student government and other student activities offices, is rated seismically poor and would be replaced. The central plaza would be redesigned; additions to the King Student Union would enliven and improve the campus edge at Bancroft as well as the plaza. SEIR finds new SU impact to historic character of complex due to changes. Anthony Hall would be renovated in accordance with Secretary of the Interior standards; a building at the Anna Head complex south of campus would be renovated in accordance with SOI standards to house performance space and interim surge space for students. 2440 Bancroft south of campus would be renovated for the campus Career Center.
