LAFCo is processing a request submitted to LAFCo by a Resolution of the of the Malaga County Water District Board of Directors (Water District) and by the Chief Proponents of a registered voter petition (collectively, Chief Proponents) for a reorganization that consists of the dissolution of the Malaga County Water District, formation of city limits and sphere of influence boundaries, the incorporation of a new city (City of Malaga), and the dissolution of County Service Area CSA#33 and other actions associated with city incorporation.
