The Department of Toxic Substances Control has approved a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) that would allow for the implementation of institutional controls, access restrictions, limited sediment removal, and monitoring within the Western Early Transfer Parcel (WETP). The WETP is generally defined as the area encompassing investigation Areas I(partial) and J, and the Western Submerged Lands, Dredge Ponds 1 (partial), 2N, 2M, 2S, 3E (partial), 3W, 4N, 4M, 4S, 5NW (partial), and the historic dredge pond located north of 3W.
