Document Description
Proposal will provide stabilization for an existing bridge and stream bank by installing four boulder step pool vortex weirs (for grade control), and vegetated timber and redwood crib walls along the northeast side of the bank (at the bridge) and at the confluence. Project replaces pipe check dams that were installed in the 1940's and 1950's. These structures failed in 1998. Requires a Minor Riparian Exception, Grading Permit and Archaeologic Site Review. The project is located at the end of Merk Road, in the Watsonville planning area.
