The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) proposed to replace the current headquarters facility at 2514 Mulberry Street, in Riverside and construct a new headquarters and operations center complex at this 10-acre site, which was historically used as a playing field for March Air Force Base near Moreno Valley. New buildings would include an office/command center, an administration building, a construction/engineering office building, an electrical shop, a mechanical shop, an auto shop, a central boiler/generator building, and a groundskeeper/hazardous materials building.
