Document Description
The Operator intends to alter the streambed by removing giant reed (Arundo) from 207 acres from the Ventura River watershed, starting from the Highway 150 bridge over the Ventura River, upstream to above Matilija Dam. This project required the use of herbicides, 14 temporary access ramps, and 2.2 miles of roads. Initial removal will be completed within one year, with four years of follow-up treatments.
