Document Description
The Matilija Dam Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study aims to return Matilija Creek to a more natural streambed configuration through removal of Matilija Dam and accumulated sediment. This would eliminate a barrier to fish passage on Matilija Creek and facilitate the migration, spawning and rearing of endangered southern steelhead. This EIS/R evaluates the potential environmental effects of the options considered in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Matilija Dam Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study.
