Document Description
The project involves construction of a new 12-inch steel water line connecting from Monticello Terrace to Mill Creek Road. The line would be 738 feet long and would be within a 9-foot deep underground trench. The trench is estimated to be 2 to 3 feet wide. The line will cross underneath Mission Creek, an intermittent stream, and require temporary diversion of the stream flow. The water line is needed as part of an approved 4-lot parcel map that was approved on August 13, 1992 off of Mill Creek Road. Parcel Map 6279 was approved for the creation of four new single family lots on a 60.47 acre site. The parcel map has received numerous time extensions and expires in August 2002. In 1990, Use Permit No. U-90-20 was approved by the City of Fremont to permit the creation of four residential lots in the Open Space Zoning District.
