Document Description
The proposed project requests a change to the Pacific Point Planning Area of the Forster Canyon Planned Community (rezone) and Vesting Tentative Tract Map 15609. Specifically the project applicant is requesting a zone change to allow additional units on the Pacific Point site and changes to the previously approved grading plan. The Forster Canyon project was originally approved by the San Juan Capistrano City Council in 1992. The proposed project seeks approval of an additional 164 units for a total of 514 units within the Pacific Point Planning Area. The increase is due in part to a redesignation of a Research and Development parcel to residential units, which will account for an increase of 66 units. The remainder of the units are reflected in an increased number of lots throughout the Pacific Point Planning Area and on Vesting Tentative Tract Map 15609.
