The proposed project would occur between river miles 5.00 and 5.50 at site 1; river miles 8.25 and 8.50 at site 2; nd river miles 18.00 and 18.50 at site 3. Under the proposed project, vegetation would be cleared and accumulated sediment removed to facilitate the flow of water through the unconstrained reach of the Salinas River channel. The Caliornia Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a lake and Streambed Alteration Number 1600-2003-5021-3 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Mr. Kevin Nash / Nunes Vegetables, Inc.
