Document Description
The purpose of the BMP is to provide a systematic approach for expanding the city's bikeway system to make bicycling more convenient, enjoyable, and safe. Because the ultimate bikeway system would require at least 20 years to complete, a 10-year plan involving 57 miles of new bikeways was developed to allow implementation of the most needed and most cost-effective elements of the ultimate system.
