Document Description
The originally approved Subdivision and Conditional Use Permit authorized the construction ofa 462-unit Planned Residential Development (218-lot single family residential subdivision, 196 single family attached townhomes of which eight were moderate income units, and 48 were affordable/employee housing units), an 18-hole golf course, driving range, 30,000-square foot clubhouse, four tennis courts, multi-purpose court, tot lot, 1.4-acre maintenance facility, trails, gate house, sales office and other associated administrative and golf course facilities. The Schaffer's Mill Modified Tentative Map (proposed project) would include relocation of eight lots to an area referred to as Phase 3D located in the southwest comer of Schaffer's Mill. This area is partially designated for forest uses in the Martis Valley Community Plan and Placer County General Plan, and zoned open space. Additionally, the project proposes relocation of the Golf Course Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Facility (Lot F) from a location central in the development to a more easily accessible location on the east side of Schaffer's Mill adjacent to Schaffer Mill Road.
