Document Description
The applicant is requesting a coastal development for Phase Two of an apartment complex. Phase Two will involve the removal of the existing one-story wood frame shed, the development of a six-unit two-story apartment building and and a six-car parking lot, drainage improvements and natural resource protection measures. On November 7,2000, the city council of the City of Eureka adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration and approved a coastal development permit for Phase One of the apartment complex (CDP-04-00). As described in the staff report and the Mitigated Negative Declaration for Phase One, the potential environmental impacts for Phase Two will be considered cumulative to Phase One. This initial study tiers off of the adopted mitigated negative declaration (SCH # 200092023).
