Document Description
The City of Pacifica has received an application for the development of approximately 4.2 acres of vacant land with 30 residential housing units, an interior driveway and road network and a private park/open space area. The area proposed for the project is a relatively undisturbed, vegetated, bowl-shaped site on the eastern side of the 4000 block of Palmetto Avenue, just south of Daly City boundary. The project proposal must meet the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). City review of information submitted as part of the development application (development plan, a geotechnical report, traffic report, preliminary biological and wetlands surveys) indicates that the project could potentially result in significant adverse environmental effects and that an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) should be proposed.
