Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under Division 4.5, California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Chapter 20, proposes to approve a Class 1* Permit Modification (Modification) for the Hazardous Waste Management Permit. The Modification will administratively update Special Condition 22 of the permit to reflect updates to the flood gauge datum from 23.0 feet (National Geodetic Vertical Datum 1929) to 25.5 ( North American Vertical Datum 1988) consistent with datum updates to flood monitoring implemented by the California Department of Water Resources at the I Street Bridge gauge. The modification will also delete references to obsolete warning titles in Special Condition 22. The permit modification does not modify the physical water level at which the facility would implement Special Condition 22. No functional, constructive, or operational changes are proposed as part of the permit modification. No changes in capacity, or construction will result from the permit modification.
