Document Description
Orange County Flood Control District is working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to complete the Santa Ana River Mainstem project in the location of this trail project. This project is a separable element of the Santa Ana River Mainstem Project. The grantee, Riverside County Park and Open Space District, is providing funds from a grant awarded by the State Coastal Conservancy to the Orange County Flood Control District to construct the trail component of the project adjacent to the Alcoa Dike Phase II. The trail component is an add-on to that project to realize the state cost savings by coordinating the construction simultaneously.
