Document Description
The primary purpose of the projecct is to balance water demands with water supplies in the Pajaro groundwater basin. The objectives of the proposed project include reducing overdraft problems associated with the amount of groundwater drawn from local sources, improving groundwater quality due to a decrease in seawater intrusion related to overdraft, and improving regional water supply problems by providing additional fresh water for current and future needs.
