Document Description
Placer County is proposing to update and readopt the Granite Bay Community Plan (Community Plan). The Community Plan is the official statement of the County setting forth goals, policies, assumptions, guidelines, and implementation measures that will guide the future development of the area. The project is considered an update and readoption of the plan, rather than a more comprehensive rewrite, based on the premise that the community's residents generally support retaining their predominantly rural residential lifestyle and maintaining the area's current holding capacity (i.e., the maximum number of dwelling units).
